Incredible Breakfast Bake

Ingredients

1 lb 450 g breakfast sausage (pork, turkey, or chicken)
1 small onion finely chopped
1 red bell pepper diced
6 large eggs
1 cup 240 ml whole milk
2 cups 200 g shredded cheddar cheese
3 cups 120 g frozen hash browns, thawed
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon paprika
2 tablespoons butter melted
Optional: chopped parsley or green onions for garnish

How To Make Incredible Breakfast Bake

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
Sauté the vegetables by adding the onion and bell pepper to the sausage. Cook for 3–4 minutes until slightly softened.
Layer the base by spreading the hash browns evenly in the prepared baking dish. Drizzle with melted butter.
Add the filling by spooning the sausage and vegetable mixture over the hash browns. Sprinkle evenly with shredded cheese.
Whisk the eggs in a bowl with milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
Pour the egg mixture evenly over the entire dish.
Bake uncovered for 40–45 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is lightly golden.
Rest for 5 minutes, then slice and serve. Garnish if desired
